About Greg

Greg grew up like most boys; playing sports, loving his dog, pursuing his dreams, and participating in athletics. A major curve ball was thrown at him at the age of 11 when he was sexually shamed. At age 15, his parents divorced. He became a Christian at age 18 in 1981, after two major life events; one of which was a threat on his life. He committed his life to the ministry late that year.

However, most of his sin and struggles with sexual immorality, pornography, adultery, and homosexuality began after that. He carried his wound through Bible College at Houston Baptist University where he double majored in Christianity and Speech, and graduated in 1986. He went on to Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary where he graduated in 1993 with an MDIVBL degree. Greg spent 20 years in professional ministry, serving four churches as Youth Minister, and three churches as Pastor. A host of wounds, insecurities, and brokenness led him to slavery and spiritual bondage through a long line of selfish choices, and not knowing where to turn for help. Thankfully, Jesus knew! And Jesus set him free on Feb. 19, 2017. This site tells his story of how Jesus Broke His Chains!

Greg is available to speak to churches or men's groups. He has great passion for helping others forsake their chains, find freedom, and "live UP" to their calling as Christians are called to do in Phil. 3:16. His goal is to challenge and exhort Christians to be all that God has called them to be, while striving to glorify God in their daily lives!
